FLINT, Joe - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Joe Flint of RR2, Veedersburg, age 87, died Tuesday morning, July 1, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Warren County, September 22, 1892, the son of James and Mary Evans Flint. August 16, 1914, he married Teenza Hurley, who survives. He was a member of Hedrick Church of god and was a retired farmer.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Philpott and Mrs. Kay Shoaf, both of RR 2, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Mary Jane Watson of Waveland; three sons, Eupert of Phoenix, Arizona, Herbert of Crawfordsville and Harland of New Market; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hedrick Church of God with burial in Pence Cemetery. Friends may call at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. – thanks to “S”
